Furniture Design
Box Life is a dolls house combine toy box. It was designed to encourage social skills and interaction between multiple generations. This product enables a wide age range to communicate through the use of imaginary play, as well as it being a functional piece of storage furniture within the home.
Inspired by Scandinavian design, the minimalist appearance was essential to this product as it needed to be a timeless, diverse and practical piece of furniture within anybody's home. It is made from durable plywood, which is an affordable and also aesthetically classic material. The natural wood colour means consumers are able to add their own personality to the furniture, allowing it to suit any interior.
